Woah, 12 months - where did the time go? It feels like just yesterday I was ringing in the New Year and now here we are, already counting down to 2021. Time sure flies when you’re having fun! But it’s been an incredible year full of ups and downs, twists and turns. From new beginnings to bittersweet goodbyes, this past year has been one for the books.
Why Do We Have 12 Months? [Solved]
So, Caesar’s astronomers added two months to the calendar - January and February - to make it 12 months long. They also added a leap year every four years to keep the calendar in sync with the seasons. And that’s why we have 12 months in a year!
January: The first month of the year, typically marked by cold weather and the start of a new year.
February: The second month of the year, often associated with Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Day in the United States.
March: The third month of the year, usually associated with springtime and warmer weather in many parts of the world.
April: The fourth month of the year, often associated with Easter and April Fool’s Day in many countries around the world.
May: The fifth month of the year, typically marked by warmer temperatures and blooming flowers in many parts of the world.
June: The sixth month of the year, usually associated with summertime activities such as swimming or camping trips for many people around the world.
July: The seventh month of the year, typically marked by hot temperatures and vacations for many people around the world during this time period each summer season..
8 August:The eighth month of they ear ,often associated with back-to-school shopping for students returning to school after their summer break .
9 September :The ninth months oft he years ,usually marks a transition from summer to fall .It is also when most schools begin their academic years .
10 October :The tenth months oft he years ,often associated with Halloween celebrations throughout much oft he western hemisphere .

12 months is a long time! It’s like a year in the blink of an eye. You can do so much in that amount of time - it’s amazing how quickly it passes. From January to December, you can really make something of yourself if you put your mind to it. So don’t waste any more time - get out there and make the most of those 12 months!
