Sup, iam Daniel Bouyer, Have a splendid day!

Whoa, talk about cool! Submarines can actually float in water - it’s amazing! You might think that something so big and heavy would sink like a stone, but nope - these bad boys are designed to stay afloat. It’s all thanks to the principles of buoyancy and displacement. Basically, the submarine displaces an amount of water equal to its own weight, which keeps it from sinking. Pretty neat, huh?

Why Do Submarines Float On Water? [Solved]

When the submarine needs to dive, the ballast tanks are filled with water. This increases the submarine’s density so it sinks. Then, when the submarine needs to rise back up, air is pumped into the tanks and it becomes less dense than the water again. Pretty cool, huh?

  1. Buoyancy: Submarines are designed to be buoyant, meaning they can float on the surface of the water. This is achieved by having a hull that is filled with air or other gases that are lighter than water, allowing the submarine to remain afloat.

  2. Propulsion: Submarines use a combination of electric motors and diesel engines to move through the water. The electric motors provide power for underwater travel while the diesel engines provide power for surface travel.

  3. Control Systems: Submarines have sophisticated control systems that allow them to maneuver in three dimensions and maintain their position in the water column without drifting away from their intended course or destination.

  4. Pressure Hulls: Pressure hulls are an essential part of submarines as they protect crew members from extreme pressure changes when diving deep into the ocean depths or surfacing quickly from great depths.

  5. Sonar Systems: Sonar systems allow submarines to detect objects in their environment such as other vessels, obstacles, and even fish schools which helps them navigate safely through hostile waters without being detected by enemy forces or running aground on rocks or reefs below the surface of the sea

Submarines are designed to float on top of the water, just like a boat. They’re able to stay submerged for long periods of time, but they still need to come up for air every now and then. It’s pretty amazing that these vessels can stay afloat even when they’re underwater!
