Wow, have you seen the sky lately? The time sun is turning red and it’s absolutely stunning! I’m in awe of how beautiful it looks - like something out of a dream. It’s almost as if time has stopped and all that exists is this moment. It’s truly breathtaking! Who knows how long this will last, so I’m gonna soak up every second of it while I can. Ahh, what a sight to behold!
When Was The Last Time The Sun Turn Red? [Solved]
People were amazed as they looked up and saw the sky looking like something out of a movie. It was like an Instagram filter had been applied in real life! Everywhere you looked, the sky was a strange orange hue. Folks couldn’t believe their eyes - it was totally surreal.
The phenomenon was caused by ex-hurricane Ophelia, which had passed through the UK on 16th October 2017. The storm had brought with it dust from the Sahara Desert and smoke from forest fires in Portugal and Spain, causing the sun to take on an eerie orange colour.
It was a sight to behold - one that people won’t forget in a hurry!
Sunrise: The time when the sun rises in the morning and its light begins to fill the sky, turning it a bright orange or red color.
Sunset: The time when the sun sets in the evening and its light fades away, leaving behind a deep red or orange hue.
Twilight: The period of time between sunset and nightfall when there is still some light in the sky but it is not as bright as during sunrise or sunset.
Alpenglow: A phenomenon that occurs just before sunrise or after sunset where mountains are illuminated by a reddish-orange glow caused by sunlight reflecting off of ice crystals in the atmosphere.
Atmospheric Refraction: When sunlight passes through Earth’s atmosphere, it bends slightly due to changes in air pressure which can cause objects on Earth to appear slightly distorted and can also cause colors to appear more vivid than they would normally be seen without atmospheric refraction present.
As the sun sets, it turns a beautiful shade of red. Time flies when you’re watching the sky change colors! Whoa, it’s so gorgeous! Before you know it, the sun has disappeared and night has taken over.
