Whoa, it’s a winter wonderland here in Georgia! We got hit with a big snow and it’s absolutely beautiful. I’m talking inches and inches of the white stuff - enough to make even the most hardened Southerner smile. It’s been a while since we’ve seen this much snow, so everyone is out enjoying it while they can. From snowball fights to sledding down hills, there’s no shortage of fun activities to do in this wintery paradise!

Wow, 8.3 inches of snow in one day in Atlanta? That’s crazy! On January 23, 1940, that record was set - 21.1 cm of snow! And it looks like there have been some pretty hefty snowfalls since then too - like 5.8 inches (1.5 cm) on January 17, 2018 and 3.8 inches (9 cm) on December 9, 2017!
