Strain Obama Run: This is a 5K race that takes place in Washington, D.C., to honor former President Barack Obama and his legacy of service to the nation.
Date and Location: The race will take place on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
Registration: Participants can register online or in person at the event for a fee of $25 per person or $50 per family (up to four people).
Course: The course will be a 5K loop around the National Mall with views of iconic monuments such as the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument along the way.
Awards: Awards will be given out for overall winners as well as age group winners in both male and female categories for each race distance (5K).
Fundraising Opportunities: Participants are encouraged to fundraise for their favorite charity or cause while running Strain Obama Run! All proceeds from fundraising efforts will go directly to those charities/causes chosen by participants during registration process
